FROM JUNK TO DOLLARS in 30 Days
If you’re like me, you have a million ideas bouncing around in your head and on Post-It notes everywhere you go. For people like us, it takes a lot of motivation to stick with anything for an extended period of time. One of those challenges has always been getting rid of all that old stuff lying around the house. I’m going to show you how I’ve taken stuff lying around my house and sold it in 30 days.
First of all I should let you know that I’ve bought and sold many things online however, this is neither a get-rich-quick eBook nor a training course. Since I don’t have anything to sell, you have no reason to see if these steps might be able to help you make some money online. I have sold everything from rental property to my wife selling cupcakes online and we have sold everything we have wanted to sell.
Without further ado, make money online using these 5 steps in 30 days.
1. One person’s junk is another person’s treasure: You’ve heard this before as we all have been garage sale shopping and find a lot of stuff that would fit nicely into our home. As you look around your house, find things that will get people to stop and have a look. Whether your selling big ticket items or small nick-nack stuff, people are looking online to buy what ever you're selling.
2. Take Great Pictures: Pictures are a must when it comes to selling things online. Get as many pictures as you can, take different angles, close up, side angles… whatever it takes and post as many pictures as the site will let you.
3. Find good websites: Finding good websites with a lot of traffic is key for success. There are many out there and it will take a little time to narrow down which ones to use. I always recommend that you spend a little money to get the best placement for your featured item.
4. Be willing to Negotiate: People always want to find a deal online so be willing to negotiate. Personally, I enjoy the negotiation process and putting deals together. Sometimes we come out ahead and sometimes we come out a little behind. Of course the goal here is to make money but when it comes to selling used items… set your bottom price, mark it up and start the selling process.
5. Have Fun: Most importantly, have fun doing whatever it is your doing. A lot of people find this process exciting… looking forward to checking emails to see what offer has landed in their inbox. My believe is to have fun no matter what you’re doing in life. Being optimistic is much better than being the opposite and you will find that when you believe in the best outcome, the best outcome is what you’ll get!
I hope this look into my experience motivates you to get out there and do something. So… get to looking around your garage, look in closets, in your attic, wherever you store some of that old “junk” around your house, find it, post it and turn it into cash.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post. I have enjoyed sharing my experience and hope you will do the same.
